Behind-the-scenes with our newest line: Collected

I always love hearing and seeing what made a collection come together, so I thought I'd share with you guys today a little behind-the-scenes peek at what inspired our newest line we just released!

Last summer my grandparents came over and surprised me with an amazing box of treasures! She had been going through her decorations and thought she'd pass these special things along to me! They all came from her mom, my great-grandma Helen.

As I unpacked them, and placed them all in special spots around my house, the doily's stood out. I loved how little but detailed they were and knew we had to use them in an upcoming line!

After I scanned the doily's and turned them into a digital file, I got to work! Usually, once we have the basic idea behind a collection the very next thing we do is pick out colors, fonts and a name. Above is a little peek at what that process looks like!

I choose to name this line Collected because the inspiration came from my grandma's collection, and our scrapbooks are memories and treasures that we collect through the years!
