Hello!! Today we are sharing the second half of my December Daily Album using the Elle's Studio 'Tis the Season, and
Jack Frost kits.
And we also have special giveaway at the bottom of this post- so stay tuned!!
I have to say, I love how these two kits are beautiful on their own, yet also work so well together in an album. Even the pinks and reds from the two kits blend well together!
On page 15 I used a paper clip to temporarily adhere the tags to the page. I did this here and there throught the album, especially when I knew i would be moving tags and photos around later.
Another fun element I included in my album was an old Christmas card pack I picked up years ago at the grocery store. (I included one in my album last year too!) It's a great way to add a unique touch to your album, and one that you can repeat year after year.
The page with the poinsettia flower was inspired by a December Daily
I pinned on pinterest.
One design "technique" I tried to keep throughout the album was to have a solid paper matched with a pattern paper on each spread. It seemed to coordinate best and keep different papers from looking too busy.

I am a December Daily virgin and I haven't had the time or the inspiration to start my foundation pages yet. I am not planning on doing a December Daily...I tried last year and it's still waiting to be filled. I have all the pages completed and piles of "stuff" to put together...just ran out of steam! I should really just finish it already!!

yep i am doing a december daily this year on the days i don't have anything to put in (i don't have kids at home) i will be putting in favorite christmas memories i am also considering putting lyrics to christmas songs on the pages like starting with ali's stamp 'have yourself a merry little christmas' and continuing on with the lyrics on each page at the bottom...

I have NEVER done a December Daily before and honestly never thought about it until I saw yours. It's absolutely gorgeous and so inspiring. I don't know that I will have a chance for one this year but will defintely do one for 2012. Thanks for the wonderful inspiration! Happy Holidays!
oh, i am so doing a december daily. this will be my sixth year making an album and it is still my favourite memory keeping project of the entire year. of course, january marks the beginning of my project life so i am really looking forward to that as well. too much info...sorry!
I am doing more of a "holiday memories 2011" album than a daily. I've tried to be good and do something every day before and never finished, so I'm taking the stress off and just highlighting the holiday memories as they happen. Thanks for the chance to win!

I am doing Project Life and that is keeping me busy...so no Dec. Daily album for me. I think "Jack Frost" would make a great addition to the pages of my PL album!

Yes, I am doing a December Daily with my Elle kit and another kit. In fact, I just finished it over the weekend and am excited to get started! I made two - one for me and one for my kids to fill out (age 14 and 9). However, I need to make a third one because my 9 year old boy said, 'I sure would like my own album mom!' He already told me about things he wants to write in it: his favorite ornament and our Christmas lights. LOL!! Gotta get moving on that!! Thanks for the chance to win!!

I have my December Daily foundation pages about halfway completed :-( I made my holiday cards this year and that really slowed me down this month. I love your album so far and am excited to see how you have used some of the Crate Paper line as that is what I am working with as well.

Yes I am doing a DD, I have actually already started but only a few days, we did some things Nov 23/24 that I wanted to include in the book. I won't do everyday but I know it will be full of fun things!

Yes I am doing a december daily album, it is about 1/2 done, but I have all night and all day tomorrow to finish it. I am having a lot of fun making it.
I just decided (like yesterday) that I was going to do a December Daily. The basics for my book is done. That's it!

This is my first year of even attempting a December Daily. I have really only just strated journaling this fall. I have a big fear of doing something wrong when I set up my pages, but I am going to just give it a try and see what happens. I love looking at what other people are doing, and all the differnet papers they are using.
