New Halloween Digitals + a freebie!

Please note: All of our digital and hybrid items have been moved and are available at: JessicaSprague.com
Fall is in the air and Halloween is around the corner! We knew that two things we had to create for the upcoming holiday were treat bags and banners!
We made five different designs, for the treat bags, all available in our kit here! Since it is a digital kit, you can print as many bags as you need and as many of each design as you want! They are perfect for your trick-or-treaters and parties!
BUT, since we love you guys so, SO much we decided to offer one design out of the set for free! You can download the above bag design here. We hope you all enjoy it!!
You can fill them with candy, popcorn and more!

We made some printable banners, too! We couldn't decide between "Happy Halloween" and "Trick or Treat" so we made them both :)
Each kit comes with five 4 x 6 inch patterned papers that you can use for backgrounds and the sayings in both orange and black! You can mix and match them to make your own, unique banner! String them on ribbon or tulle and add some fringe for extra flare!
We hope you enjoy these new Halloween digital items!

Happy and spooky creating!

Inspiration for spicing up your mail!

Since the holiday and card season is getting close I thought I'd highlight the "Happy Mail" blog post by Danielle Thompson! We love how she stamped on our County Fair Journaling Tags and thought how cute it would be to write the address on those and glue them to an envelope before mailing?!
And, she even inspired us with her handmade envelopes! We have some envelope templates (located on the right side of our blog) that you can download and use to create your own envelopes for your cards! You could use all sorts of material to make the envelopes out of ... just make sure it is sturdy enough to travel through the postal system!

We'd love to hear your fun package or mail ideas! Please feel free to leave a comment or email us with them :)

Happy creating!

Summer 2009 • Documented + Finale

We had a blast this summer documenting our time with you guys - so much fun that it's sad to see the summer come to an end :( But, new seasons are ahead and making this summer mini has got us really looking forward to doing a December Daily mini :)

Here's what our album ended up looking like:
And, here a two more pages that we haven't shown yet! We used the pocket and tag from our Digital Download.
We backed the pocket on brown cardstock so it would fit in our minis on the binder rings
And, put some pictures in the pocket, but added little pull tabs so they can be removed easily:
And, added a large picture on the left! I love adding larger photos to mini books. It really changes it up and adds character to the book!

Another page we added was on Pike Place Market in Seattle. We used the little postcard from the digital download and made a pocket with the photo that it slides into:

Also, I love adding little envelopes with special items sealed inside. This is a glassine envelope, so it's a tiny bit see through.
So many memories! We had a blast this summer, but the best part was getting to enjoy it with family and friends! Now, all the new memories we made we will never forget!

We'd love to see your mini or layouts for summer! Please feel free to link us up in the comment section - we'd love to do a post that features them all!!

Can't wait to start on my next mini!

Planning :)

Where did the week go? I can’t believe the weekend is already here, again! It was a very crazy but productive week – love those kind! We put a bunch of fun things on our blog calendar, decided what digital downloads for the holidays we were going to create/finish, talked and planned out what new things are coming for 2010, finally decided on a digital camera and picked a photo class to take (super excited about that!! I’ve been really sad about our photos lately) and scheduled a bunch of other little things that we’ve been wanting to do for… forever!

We also caught up on orders – huge thanks to everyone for their orders! I’m so glad and happy to hear everyone is liking the new items :) I always get super nervous before our big launches!

And, we are going to be scrapbooking this weekend and working on some projects that we’ve been wanting to get to for awhile… PLUS, finishing our Summer Mini and posting the final pages from it next week :)

Lots of fun in store!! Happy weekend :)

Retailer of the Month - YourScrapbookStash.com

Erica opened YourScrapbookStash.com almost 3 years ago and each year, she loves her little venture more and more. She loves finding new and unique products (like Elle's products) for her customers as well as stocking some of the best manufacturers out there! The idea for the store came about in August 2006 when her job was outsourced and she had to think of what steps to take next. As she worked in her room one night, she realized how much stuff she actually had - her 'Stash'. Erica figured there were millions of other women out there who had a 'stash' too and the name stuck! She started working out of the house and eventually moved to larger warehouse as the store grew. Her husband wasn't happy having 2 stashes in the house!
Erica wanted people to feel like they were shopping at their local scrapbook stores when they visit so she incorporated cool colors and a little bit of my family. Rascal the Pug has a special place in her scrapbook room and on the site! Each month, he highlights special products and new arrivals for our shoppers.
They also have a diverse Design Team so there are always different ideas in the store gallery as well as a monthly Guest Designer. They use the store blog to share store updates as well as tips and tutorials on using the products they sell or things you might have in your 'stash'. They've been using Elle's products since they started carrying them in 2007. You can find any number of ideas in the gallery using any of the tags she carries - old and new!
They have an amazing offer for our readers this month: 15 % off all orders during September! Enter code ELLES15 during checkout at their site. They will also include a little surprise with every order of Elle's Studio products placed during the month of September!
We've known Erica for a couple years now and love shopping at YourScrapbookStash.com! Erica is so genuinely sweet and knowing it is family run just adds to the mix! You've got to check out their site - it's a must see!!

Thank you, Erica, for being our Retailer of the Month and for your support over the years!
