My favorite part is decorating for it... I love the memories associated with my decorations, and the peaceful feeling I get at night when I can sit down and enjoy the soft lights. It reminds me that it's a season of hope and peace and that brings me so much joy.

My favourite part of the holidays is simply being together with family from all over. Doing the simple things together like baking cookies, wrapping gifts, sharing a meal and putting up the tree. Only 4 months to go!

I was just at my LSS and saw a ton of Christmas papers, how can it really be that time of the year again. But I love it because that means I can break out all the yummy Fall scented candles.

I am excited to see all the new products! I am not sure which I love more Halloween or the winter holidays. What I love about this time of year is basically everything: the cooler weather (yipee!); the deeper, richer colors; the food, drink and candy(!!!); the peep in the step dreaming up new ideas for our annual Halloween party and then our Holiday party in December; the childlike joy of the season; the music; the movies (cheesy tv movies too!); decorating; the art products for the holidays (especially stamps) and just about everything. My favorite part of the holidays is making all the scrapbooks I give for gifts. The grandparents and parents get recaps of the year customized for their family. The nieces and nephews get books featuring themselves and their special activities. Everyone loves them and trade them around when we exchange gifts because no two are alike. I love creating them almost as much as the family likes receiving them!

Love these sneak peeks! There are so many things that are wonderful about the holiday season, but I have to say that one thing that stands out in my mind is the innocence of the kiddos. I love that they believe a burly old man named Saint Nick delivers their presents on Christmas Eve! Their faces on Christmas morning are priceless!!!

I love baking cookies with my two cousins every Christmas. My aunt (their mom) passed away 5 years ago and it has made me treasure every minute I get to spend with them even more! Our cookie baking has become a fun little tradition!

On Halloween I love to dress up and see all those cute little witches and warlocks. On Christmas I love to make cookies and spend time with familty.

Here in Australia, The festive season brings warmer weather after a dreary boring winter. It means less cooking inside and more barbeques, happy sun kissed kids, and sweet summer breezes gently blowing the decorations on the tree.

My favcorite part of the holiday season is the memories all our activities will have one day for our kids. Each year I make it a point to do "traditions" again and again. I host parties: Cookies swap, Game nights, Channukah party... Thanksgiving dinner is always at our house with a special emphasis for findiong those without nearby family to include... Watching favorite movies - Miracle on 34th St at Thanksgiving, It's a Wonderful Life on Christmas Eve.. We do this year after year after year. It's something we all look forward to (even if the kids sometimes do roll their eyes)

I love getting to bake and experiment in the kitchen a lot more around the holidays to make treat baskets for friends when we go visiting. You get to have fun, get creative, share, and inspire others to try out recipes that were the favorites in the baskets since I usually add in the recipe cards to what was made.

Family traditions are my favorite part of the holiday season:Cookie Swaps, Channukah parties, driving around town looking at lights, watching "It's a Wonderful Life" on Christmas Eve, "Back to the Future" on New Years... Now that my kids are older and roll their eyes at me they still love all of these traditions!
