Fun surprise!

I got my copy of Simple Scrapbooks in the mail and was flipping through it...
And HEY! There's an Elle's Studio tag :) What a fun layout - awesome goodies on it! It was done by Tara Whitney - I LOVE it Tara!!!! I've been a huge fan of her blog here, her photography is amazing!!!

Also, a quick note about the flickr contest - the end of the month's almost here! This month I wanted to do something new, too! If you don't have a flickr account, BUT have used an Elle's Studio product on your layout/card/etc. and it's on the net somewhere - post a link to it in the comments here and you're entered! Can't wait to see the all!

A Newsletter!

An Elle’s Studio newsletter is in the works and I have to admit, I’m really, REALLY excited about it!! It is going to be full of fun things like: Updates on new products, tips and techniques, featured layouts from the flickr gallery (used with permission), guest designer spots, free w/purchase coupons and sometimes even a surprise printable freebee!

I promise not to overload your mail boxes with it, the jam-packed newsletter itself will only be sent out 4 times a year and a short "new product" updater email will not be mailed more than once a month. Sign up today (see the right hand side of the blog), the first newsletter will be going out very soon!

New items!

New items are up in the shop! So excited about these :)

*On Sunday I will be uploading 3 more items, but they will be a variation of the items already in the shop, printed on cream paper.

Some fun with watercolors!

I had some fun this weekend playing around with watercolors and I thought I should share them with you! Everything in the shop is digitally laser printed… that means that if the tags get wet, they won’t smear!! And if they sit in the sun – it will take YEARS to fade! How awesome is that?? And, of course it is all archival quality, printed on acid free paper.

So that means that you could watercolor over the design and not ruin it – it was so much fun! I’m going to keep experimenting this weekend, can’t wait!

January's winner and some new kits!

Hey everyone! Wow! What an amazing start to the new year :) You guys are awesome – thank you so much! And, thank you for all your sweet words and notes, I truly treasure each and every one of them!

Since it is already the end of the month (time is going so fast), that means it is time to announce the winner of the flickr contest for January! There were a record breaking 49 entries this month – amazing! I love looking at each layout, even seeing some of the new products popping up here and there, so much fun! I let my mom pick the winner again and once again it was really hard to narrow it down, the layouts are just so good! She managed to narrow it down to two winners... and they are:
